Shanice Set to Release ‘Every Woman Dreams: Part 2’
Grammy nominated singer Shanice, will release “Every Woman Dreams: Part 2” on streaming services for the first time, this Friday August 26th.
Shanice originally released “Every Woman Dreams,” on her own label Imajah Records (named from her two children) in 2006.
“Every Woman Dreams: Part 2,” will feature the remainder 8 tracks featured on the original 2006 release. Including her second recording of the MinnieRiperton classic “Lovin’ You” and the albums second single release “Take Care of U,” co-written by Shanice.
The single hit #72 on the Billboard Hot R&B chart.
The video has also been uploaded by Shanice, which features Derek Luke, her husband Flex Alexander, Shondrella Avery and Mo’Nique.
“Every Woman Dreams: Part 2” also features “Forever Like A Rose“, a beautiful breathtaking ballad, that should haver been a single release.
“Every Woman Dreams” Part. 1 features the albums original 8 tracks from the album.
Shanice expressed her love for the lead single and title-track to UB in a previous interview; “I love the title track, just what it’s saying to women. I want women to feel good about their self. And get ahead in life and to get out of bad situations and know that something better will come.”
Choreography Cameron Lee, recently performed a dance routine to “So Sexy,” another hot banger from the release. Watch it below.
Shanice‘s first album was released when Shanice was 14 entitled “Discovery.”
It was her worldwide smash, “I Love Your Smile,” a #1 pop hit in 22 countries, that brought her a Grammy nomination, Germany’s Golden Lion Award and international stardom.
A song Chris Brown made a current hit again, when he sampled it on his single “Undecided.”
