UB Spotlight: ‘Fallen Angels Murder Club’ Cast Talks New Films
Toni Braxton executive produces and stars in Lifetime “Fallen Angels Murder Club” anthology movie series as Hollis Morgan, an ex-con turned amateur sleuth set out to investigate a series of murders at her book club.
The first movie Premieres tomorrow Saturday, April 2nd, entitled “Fallen Angels Murder Club: Friends to Die For.”
The second installment, “Fallen Angels Murder Club: Heroes and Felons” airs on Saturday, April 9th. The movies are based on the books Fallen Angels Book Club by R. Franklin James.
Additional ‘angels‘ for the anthology include Lisa Berry as “Abby Caldwell,” Yanic Truesdale as “Gene Donovan,” Humberly González as “Rena Gabriel,” Rainbow Sun Francks as “Miller Thornton” and Raoul Bhaneja as “Rory Sharma.”
Henderson Wade, Kaitlyn Leeb, Rob Stewart, Keith D. Robinson and Shawn Ahmed also star.
UB has screened the films and they are both must watch television! There is nothing like a really good murder mystery and “Fallen Angels Murder Club: Friends to Die For” is that!
Think of the classic film “Clue” where there’s a villain who’s murdered. These friends are all apart of a book club, where they find themselves living the murder mystery they’re currently reading.
As time goes on the friends realize every member of the book club, has something in common that is revealed.

The Fallen Angels Murder Club films are produced for Lifetime by Brain Power Studio and executive produced by Beth Stevenson, Nancy Yeaman, Toni Braxton and Rhonda Baraka. The films fall in line with Lifetime’s Broader Focus initiative which supports the hiring of women in key production roles. Both films are written, executive produced and directed by Rhonda Baraka.
