Rising R&B Vocalist Candiace Shines During ‘Femme It Forward’

Rising R&B vocalist Candiace Dillard Bassett rocked the stage as she opened up for two Femme It Forward concerts this past weekend. Supporting R&B icons Faith Evans, SWV, Mýa, and 702, Candiace delivered crowd-pleasing sets during two nights of shows on March 11th in Connecticut and March 13th in Washington, DC.
Femme It Forward is a female-led music and entertainment platform that centers its mission on celebrating, educating, and empowering the industry’s most creative and accomplished female visionaries through multi-format, multi-market consumer experiences. They produce music festivals, concerts, original content, comedy shows, philanthropic endeavors, panels, college engagements, and more.
Candiace‘s debut single “Drive Back” recently reached more than 1 million streams, and her album “Deep Space” reaching 2.5 million. She is gearing up to re-release “Deep Space” this summer with additional music and features.
In addition, the record earned praise from R&B superstars Anita Baker and Toni Braxton.
Later this year she also stars in BET‘s “It Takes Two.”
