Damez Drops ‘Player’s Club’ Themed Visual ‘Up Down’

ATL Rapper and Singer/Songwriter Damez officially kicks off 2022 with the release of his new visual “Up Down.” His ode to The Players Club and Magic City approved.

Up Down” is the latest visual release from Damez’s “Coverboy” EP, released last June for Pride and Black Music Month. The visual is a nod to Atlanta’s strip club culture. Opening with Damez pulling up to Magic City while Damez’s take on one of Dollar Bill’s infamous quotes from The Players Club sets the scene.

The song and accompanying music video are an “ass shaking tutorial” and a salute to the “twerkers,” the dancers, the strippers, and the patrons who love and support them. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, the visual doesn’t discriminate. Damez twerks gracefully alongside his female dancers in between making eyes at a lineup of shirtless eligible bachelors.

Ultimately, everyone has an ass and Damez’s “Up Down” music video welcomes viewers – straight, gay, and everything in-between – to shake it!
