UB First Listen: Men at Large Return with R&B Heat ‘IMF (In My Feelings)’

The Cleveland duo Men At Large, discovered by late great Gerald LeVert in the early 90’s are back!

With a sound that is bigger, and better than both of their weights combined.

Their hits include their debut single “Use Me,” “Would You Like To Dance” and the classic ballad of mourning a loved one “So Alone.” Which climbed to #5 on Billboard’s R&B charts and reached the Top 30 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Singles.

Men At Large, combined of original members Dave Tolliver and Jason Champion, have reunited. The pair are creating their first studio album, in over 20 years.

UB has your First Listen of the hot lead single, entitled “IMF (In My Feelings),” via SSMG. The song will be available for pre-order on August 11th and released on August 23rd.

“Girl you got me
All up in my feelings
I ain’t even here
I’m in the ceiling
Way up, if I’m dreamin’
I don’t wanna wake up”

On the new song, the fellas don’t miss a beat! The midtempo, that pleasantly slips into a bedroom R&B banger is the perfect song to reintroduce this talented duo to a new generation.

Men At Large‘s sound is reminiscent of a time when mainstream recording artists would belt out songs that capture the soul.

For the most part, today‘s music industry has fallen on deaf ears, and the days of Label A&R reps finding that “diamond in the ruff” are seemingly gone.

One thing that will never change is the power of a hit record, and the undeniable ability of a true artist.
