The UB Video Interview: Latice Crawford Talks New EP ‘The Cure’


Latice Crawford is a New York native and Stellar Award nominated singer, who first appeared on BET‘s singing competition Sunday Best.

Using her three-octave, contralto vocal range, finishing third on the second season.

Her self-titled debut album reached #2 Billboard charts, and the Top Gospel Albums chart. Her sophomore album, “Diary of a Church Girl,” also appeared on the Top Gospel Albums chart.

Very active on her social media, Latice constantly shares recipes she is cooking with her fans. As a relationship workshop facilitator, she boldly shares her testimony and, in her lyrics, she is transparent about her triumphs and trials in relationships.

Latice Crawford released her new EP The Cure” on Friday. It’s transparent and motivational, concrete proof of Latice‘s ability to deliver melodic and soulful messages to listeners and followers of Christ.

A six-track confessional with transparent lyrics revealing her testimony over the last few years – diving deep into love, life, relationships and religion.

Aries from UB spoke to Latice last week about the new EP. She also talks about her time on Sunday Best and what she took away from that experience.

Latice also gets candid on a dark time in her life where she was suicidal, she tells us how she got through it.
