UB Honors 2020: Brandy Leads with Eight | Nominations Announced and Voting Begins

Nominations Announced and Voting Begins for UB Honors 2020.

Online music fans will be able to start voting Today (vote below) until January 2nd, 2021 and the winners will be announced January 4th, 2021.

This year marks the 15th Year Anniversary of UrbanBridgez.com and we have presented UB Honors to our visitors.

This years nominations were led by Brandy who garnered eight nominations including Artist of The Year and Best R&B Female Artist.

It’s no surprise the most nominated song is one UB said, was “the realest song of Brandy’s career,” Borderline. When we were given an early preview back in July, of an alternate version. The single is nominated for Best R&B Ballad of The Year, Best R&B Single of The Year and Best Visual of The Year.

Megan Thee Stallion received six nods including Best Rap Artist and twice in the Best Hip-Hop Single of The Year category, for Savage and WAP with Cardi B.

Chloe x Halle received five nods including Hustler of The Year. While the legendary Toni Braxton racked up four, including Hottest Collaboration Single of The Year for Do It featuring Missy Elliott.

Others nominated multiple times include The Clark Sisters, Charlie Wilson, Stokley, Summer Walker, Public Enemy, Teyana Taylor, Skip Marley and Victoria Monét.

Nominees were chosen from artists whose singles or albums were released before September 2019 to October 2020.
