UB GRAMMY Predictions 2020: The R&B Field

It’s that time of the year again, GRAMMY nominations! We thought this year we would share our predictions and hopes for nods this year.

The Best Urban Contemporary Album category, which was added into the Grammys in 2012, is now called Best Progressive R&B Album. The category highlights albums that include the more progressive elements of R&B and may include samples and elements of hip-hop, rap, dance and electronic music.

We’ve included our predictions for the R&B Fields and as a bonus the Best Gospel Album category.

Between our team, we’ve selected releases that we feel deserve nominations.

Today is the last day for voting in the first round. Nominations for next years GRAMMY‘s will be announced early next month.

There are 10 selections in each category, the GRAMMYS nominate anywhere from 3-5 in any category each year.
