The Original Diva Bernadette Cooper has Returned with ‘Believe In Us’

The original diva has returned, to the forefront Ms. Bernadette Cooper. Has released a hot new single entitled “Believe In Us,” with that undeniable voice that is Bernadette Cooper.

Summer is nearing an end, and amidst of all the chaos, it is our duty to continue giving you vitality and joy through this music.

The latest installment of the Yoruba Soul Originals series with “Believe In Us!” by the legendary Bernadette Cooper, produced by Osunlade. Not like you needed the reminder, but Bernadette Cooper is a singer/songwriter/producer/musician and arranger, a diseuse super nova.

She is the original-founding member of the first (and only) R&B all-female band to go platinum, the groundbreaking Klymaxx. She has collaborated with legends such as George Clinton, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, LA Reid and Babyface, Teena Marie, Paula Abdul, Rod Temperton, Salt N Pepa, Lenny Kravitz, among others.

She’s also the brainchild of the avant-pop/R&B group Madame X. Also, by the way, she STILL looks good!

2020 has seen an explosion of new music from Yoruba Records head Osunlade. Not only has he released multiple albums (with a few more surprises coming up).

On this particular song, the diva herself offers her potential partner a world of ecstasy and pleasure, but also of love. All she needs is faith from her opposite that it can work out, and she will give all that she has. It is a call to take an adventure of love and lust, a fulfillment and climax of only our highest frequencies. Osunlade’s effortless groove, with its mellow guitar swing is the perfect soundtrack for taking a chance in these upcoming autumn evenings.

“We should be together, giving each other pleasure
If you want to go up, I’ll hold you down
If you need love, I’ll be around
We could be the most sexy celebrated couple…”

Believe In Us!” follows the ethos of previous Yoruba Soul Originals: timeless, futuristic, present. Just believe!
