UB ReVisit: The ‘BET Awards’ Coverage | Never Before Seen Images

Over the years, we have been honored to cover some great award shows. However there is no award show, like the BET Awards.

We’ve covered various years and also the first ever BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta in 2006. While UB is celebrating our 15th Anniversary this year. We wanted to ReVisit our BET Awards Coverage.

In this feature, we showcase some of our favorite photos we’ve taken from the events. Many chosen have never been publicly posted. Years covered are 2012, 2016, 2019 and this years. For this year we just included press interviews, as there was no actual event due to the pandemic.

Photos include the Whitney Houston tribute in 2012, by Cissy Houston, Brandy and more. Plus behind the scenes images of Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown in the backstage area. Press interview photos with LisaRaye, Jesse Williams and Samuel Jackson.

However the Red Carpet is where it’s at and course we have loads taken by our team of photographers over the years. Trey Songz, Tamar Braxton, Faith Evans, Jacob Lattimore, Mona Scott Young, Saweetie, Big Tigga, DJ Khaled and Mya strikes some poses with our very own AriesUBG.

We start it out with a photo-shoot of sorts with one of our favorites Kirk Franklin and actor Jackie Long. Who both wore the same color scheme to the 2019 awards and showed out on the red carpet.
