The Grammy Award-winning Gospel and R&B legend, BeBe Winans, in partnership with Hidden Beach Recordings, today released a new and timely single titled “Black Lives Matter.” To coincide with the release of the single is a new video produced by Quantasy & Associates, which showcases people from around the world uniting in protest against racial injustice.

Following the untimely death of Freddie Gray, Winans began to write this song; and more recently after the lives of so many others were tragically lost, he was moved to finish and record the song in an effort to help support the Black Lives Matter movement.

The visuals shown in the video are meant to honor the endless lives lost over the years through police brutality and racism. Additionally, to support this crucial movement, all proceeds from the single will be donated to the Black Lives Matter Organization and Bryan Stevenson’s Equal Justice Initiative. During a time of incredible turmoil and pain, “Black Lives Matter” is an emotional new song, written and recorded by Winans to make a contribution towards change.

After witnessing the horrific tragedies of Freddie Gray, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd and so many other countless lives being cut short, I started to think about the ways I could lend my voice to this movement,” said Winans. “Music has always been a way to bring positivity, hope and people together so I wanted to create a song that could help bring a sense of peace to this world for our children, including my own. Black. Lives. Matter.

“ITS THE RIGHT TO LIVE IM AFTER
WANT TO TRADE THESE TEARS FOR LAUGHTER
IN ONE MOMENT DREAMS ARE SHATTERED
