UB First Listen: Warren G Returns with New Heat feat. Ty Dolla Sign | ‘And You Know That’

Warren G will release a brand new single, featuring Ty Dolla $ign on July 10th via G Funk Music. The song is entitled “And You Know That.” And UB has your First Listen!

The R&B fused single is hot, mixed with that West Coast flava only Warren G can bring. This isn’t the first time the two talents have worked together. In 2014 they both appeared with Destructo, on his single “Nobody Else.”

Followed by 2017, when Warren G performed the iconic 90’s hit “Regulate” at VH1’s Hip Hop Honors: The 90’s Game Changer awards. Ty Dolla $ign sang the parts of the late Nate Dogg.

Throughout his early solo career, Warren G worked with artists like MC Breed and 2Pac, but his big break came when his vocal collaboration with Mista Grimm, on “Indo Smoke”, appeared on the Poetic Justice soundtrack in 1992. Warren’s outstanding rap skills led to a serious collaboration with his stepbrother Dr. Dre. Dedicated to hard work, that same year, Warren G made major contributions to Dr. Dre’s album The Chronic, released in December 1992, including sampling for “Nuthin’ but a G-Thang”.

Worldwide recognition as a solo artist came immediately after Warren G dropped the smash hit “Regulate”; a duet with Nate Dogg, which topped the charts in 1994. The accompanying album Regulate…G Funk Era in 1994 went triple platinum with “This D.J.”, becoming Warren’s second Top 20 hit. The album sold four million copies worldwide, with three million of those sold in the US (certified 3x platinum). Had Warren G signed with Death Row, he would have been one of the label’s biggest selling acts at the time.

Warren G. released “The G Files” in 2009 and an EP in 2015, entitled “Regulate… G Funk Era, Pt. II.”
