Paris Bennett Returns with ‘Unapologetically Me’

Most know Paris Bennett as a top 5 finalists on the fifth season of American Idol. She’s the daughter of singer/songwriter Jamecia Bennett and granddaughter of powerhouse vocalist/songwriter Ann Nesby.

Paris has released the first single from her upcoming EP. The single is entitled “Unapologetically Me.” The song’s arrangement & melody is reminiscent of Paris’ Grandmothers break-out hit with the Sounds of Blackness, 1991‘s “Optimistic.”

The new EP set to be released this fall. This will be the first release from Paris since her 2008 Holiday release “A Royal Christmas.” She released her debut album in spring of 2007, entitled “Princess P.”
