Vain Drops New Heat ‘Smoke’
Vain is back with a hot new track entitled “Smoke.” Produced by Joe Millionaire and featuring newcomer Vin Keatin.
“Smoke” features a sample Sample of “Soul Glo” from Eddie Murphy’s “Coming to America.”
Vain has collaborated with the likes of Jim Jones, Red Cafe, Tony Yayo, Slim of 112, Lil Mo and DJ Jazzy Joyce.
UB spoke to Vain in 2011 when he was first emerging and one of the things we asked was, what made him first decide to pick up a mic?
“It wasn’t my decision, my mom made me do it. I was 9 years old. I was in a band, I played the drums and all that. I’ve been around that my whole life. We use to perform at showcases, parks and in front of the family. I’ve been rockin for years man.”
When it comes to his influences he told us “Alot of Queens cats. Like NAS, Mobb Deep, Q-Tip, Slick Rick, I’m a big fan. Onyx, Lost Boys, Queens all day! I can’t forget LL!”
