UMC Original Series ’40 & Single’ Season 1 – Available on DVD February 5th

Urban Movie Channel (UMC) and RLJ Entertainment will release Season 1 of the UMC Original Series 40 & Single on DVD on February 5th. Written and directed by acclaimed and award-winning filmmaker Leila Djansi (Ties That Bind, I Sing of a Well), the six-episode first season of the romantic series stars Marie Humbert (“An African City,” “Deadstar”), Leon Robinson (Little Richard), Vanessa Williams (“Days of Our Lives,” “Famous In Love”), and John Savage (Do the Right Thing, The Deer Hunter).

40 & Single follows the talented and beautiful, Ebaner Temple(Humbert) is the wedding dress designer every couple wants for their big day. But, just as Ebaner is privy to all of the romantic dramas of her many clients, she struggles with her own intimate relationships and a closet full of secrets. To live as a successful, bi-racial, bi-sexual woman in a narrow- minded community will take all of her strength and the support of family and friends to keep her life from coming apart at the seams.
