Platinum-selling, Grammy-winning R&B group 112 has changed the game with their new track, “Both of Us“, featuring some help from their friends, fellow American R&B mainstays Jagged Edge.

This soulful single, which highlights the velvety sounds of two R&B heavyweights, marks the latest release from 112‘s highly anticipated album, Q Mike Slim Daron, out October 27th on Entertainment One.

Jagged Edge showed us “Where The Party At” in 2001, and now they’re back, supplementing the smooth, silky sounds of 112‘s latest track, “Both Of Us.” The life of a musician is sometimes not all that it’s cracked up to be, but 112 and Jagged Edge fervently maneuver through the trials and tribulations of traveling far distances, and not letting the attention of fans get in the way of true love. This fusion of R&B greats proves to be a trophy of a song, and only adds to the anticipation for 112‘s upcoming album.

112 has been one of the most successful male vocal groups of the past 20 years, with all five previous albums certified Gold or Platinum. Their timeless hits began with their 1996 eponymous double-Platinum debut album, which featured “Only You” and “Cupid.” 112 toured widely with Puff Daddy & The Family, Keith Sweat, New Edition and, eventually, the likes of Janet Jackson and Whitney Houston. They also appeared on hits by the late Notorious B.I.G., Puff Daddy (his epic “I’ll Be Missing You”, which earned the group a Grammy) and more. More hits followed including “Come See Me”, “Love Me” featuring Mase and “Anywhere,” leading to the double Platinum-selling album Room 112. In 2001, their Part III album spawned the singles “It’s Over Now,” which hit #1 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart, and the massive Grammy-nominated hit “Peaches & Cream.” In 2005 they scored the hit “U Already Know,” which led to the release of their Platinum-selling fifth album Pleasure & Pain.

112 is touring across multiple cities in the U.S. through December, including a November 24th performance at the R&B Holiday Bash at the Kupferberg Center for the Arts in Queens, NY. Stay tuned for more amazing announcements to come from the iconic group.
