UB Extended Preview: Christian Keyes Talks Family Abuse + ‘Aunties’ on ‘UNCENSORED’

The new season of TV One’s “UNCENSORED,” continues this Sunday April 7th at 10/9c, featuring Christian Keyes.

UNCENSORED” explores the lives of some of today’s most notable personalities as they provide first-hand accounts of their success and the obstacles they faced throughout their careers.

From Detroit, MI but raised in Flint, MI, Christian got his start in the entertainment industry by appearing in stage plays having since graduated to television and film.

Since his introduction as an actor he has added singer, author and producer to his resume. He describes his ethnicity as a combination of African American (father) and Native American/French (mother).

Now, he gets Uncensored, as he shares his journey from a troubled childhood in foster care to Hollywood success.

UB spoke with Christian Keyes in 2011, apart of our Interview Series.

We asked him then, what his three essential albums were? “My 9 year old son actually just bought me the new Michael Jackson, but I had to buy him one cause he keeps borrowing mine. Stevie, gotta have some Stevie Wonder in there… Can I get 4?…. Prince, new & old. I just checked out one of his shows recently and I was blown away. Definitely one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. He’s amazing, gotta support him regardless. And lastly Luther. Gotta have some Luther Vandorss. I’m kinda all over the place, I know. But that’s who I’m going with.
