Pharrell’s Voices of Fire Debut ‘Hit The Refresh’ | ‘Super Bowl Gospel Celebration’ Today on BET

Voices of Fire‘s debut single “Hit The Refresh” has been released, written and produced by Pharrell.

Formed by Bishop Ezekiel Williams in Virginia from the Netflix docuseries, which was just nominated for an NAACP Image Award, catch Voices of Fire today on the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration.

Hit The Refresh” features lead vocals by female tenor Brittnee Randolph, alto Melvette Armond and tenor Alrenzo Albritton, with the rest of the choir‘s rich voices filling out the vibrant song. The track boasts additional vocals by T-Pain. George and Bishop Williams served as musical directors on the song and Riddick directed the choir.

The 22nd Annual Super Bowl Gospel Celebration will air on BET during Super Bowl LV week, Today Saturday, February 6th at 8/7c.

This year’s event will be hosted by national radio and TV personality Rickey Smiley and feature performances by The NFL Players Choir, Erica Campbell, Voices of Fire presented by Pharrell Williams, PJ Morton, Kierra Sheard, Koryn Hawthorne, Zacardi Cortez and an exclusive performance by gospel music pioneer and living legend John P. Kee.

Originating at Super Bowl XXXIII in 1999, the annual event joins key NFL Players, top Gospel/Contemporary Christian and mainstream GRAMMY® Award-winning artists, and special guests all on one stage to bring audiences an evening of uplifting music and inspirational messages.
