Multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated entertainer, Omari “Omarion” Grandberry, makes his long-awaited return to the music scene with the endorsement of Maybach Music Group’s CEO, Rick Ross.

In May of 2012, after a chance run-in and brief conversation, negotiations began and the 28-year old was signed to Ross’ growing imprint of artists. Shortly after announcing his signing, “Maybach O” released his first single, “Let’s Talk” featuring Rick Ross which was featured on the group’s second compilation album, Self Made Vol. 2.

The singer and songwriter first got his start in the music industry as ¼ of the ubiquitous R&B boy band, B2K. After the group disbanded, the Watts-native went on to release three solo albums (two reaching gold status) that spawned a number of hits.

His 2005 solo album, O, debuted at #1 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Album and Billboard chart after being led by the title track and the Neptunes-produced “Touch.” His follow-up album as a solo artist, 21, further dominated the following year’s radio airplay with hit singles “Entourage” and the Timbaland-produced “Icebox” – the latter topping the Billboard Hot 100 chart – which helped Omarion land his second #1 debut.

The actor and producer has also appeared in several films, most notably the box office smash, You Got Served, earning over $50 million worldwide. Omarion also added “author” to his resume in 2004, releasing a solo autobiography in conjunction with MTV entitled O and served as a judge on the 5th season of the network’s competitive dance reality show, America’s Best Dance Crew.

Omarion is busy in the studio putting the finishing touches on his debut album which will be led by the breakout hit from MMG’s Self Made Vol. 2 album, “M.I.A” featuring labelmate Wale. To satiate his fans anticipation for his first record in two years, Omarion plans to drop a free EP for his fans on November 29th, Care Package.
