Singersroom Acoustic Conversation Series Featuring Tyrese!

Last week, our partner site Singersroom.com held their fifth instillation of Acoustic Conversation. This particular event featured actor, author and singing sensation Tyrese. BoConcept was the venue of choice in New York City and the liquor sponsor for the evening was Martini Moscato d’Asti.

From beginning till end, Tyrese in true form and fashion managed to captivate the audience (filled with many screaming female fans). He kicked off his acoustic set with his debut single “Stay” backed by three vocalists from the gospel group Livre (MBK Entertainment). The single resonates pure old-school R&B which many of Tyrese‘ fans will admit that the music industry is missing today. Although “Stay” was the only song performed from the forthcoming album “Open Invitation,” Tyrese managed to plug his new album numerous times throughout his set. “Open Invitation” arrives in stores and iTunes on November 1st. Other songs performed by the singer included his hits “Signs of Love Making,” “Sweet Lady” and more.

The evening of soulful singing also included Tyrese introducing a new artist that he’s working with named Leon Timbo. The acoustic set was followed by a very entertaining question and answer segment that really engaged the fans and audience in attendance. All in all, those in attendance were left wanting more. Tyrese definitely assured the fans that they are in store for a nice surprise with his new album which is being distributed by EMI via own label Voltron Records. Full of many new producers and songwriters, “Open Invitation” definitely seems as the perfect stocking stuffer just in time for the holiday season.
