The UB Interview: Arlen Escarpeta Talks ‘Found’ Season Finale

The best new series of the year, “Found‘s season finale is tomorrow, January 16th at 10-11 p.m. ET/PT. on NBC.

In the explosive finale entitled, “Missing While Forgotten;” Gabi unravels as the team receives an anonymous tip about one of their most important cases, a missing girl they’ve been tracking for months.

Gabi makes a shocking discovery about Sir.

In any given year, more than 600,000 people are reported missing in the U.S. More than half that number are people of color that the country seems to forget about.

Public relations specialist Gabi Mosely (star and producer Shanola Hampton) — who was once herself one of those forgotten ones — and her crisis management team now make sure there is always someone looking out for the forgotten missing people. But unbeknownst to anyone, this everyday hero is hiding a chilling secret of her own.

The full cast includes Shanola Hampton, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Kelli Williams, Brett Dalton, Gabrielle Walsh, Arlen Escarpeta and Karan Oberoi. Nkechi Okoro Carroll, Sonay Hoffman, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman and Lindsay Dunn executive produce.

Arlen co-starred in the critically acclaimed series “David Makes Man.” Other TV series on his extensive resume include “SWAT,” “The Magicians,” “American Dreams,” “Boston Public,” “The Secret Circle” “House,” “NCIS Los Angeles,” “Without a Trace,” “Cold Case,” “Judging Amy,” “Law & Order: SVU,” “ER” and “The Shield.”

On the film side, Arlen’s credits include “Whitney,” “Into the Storm,” the re-imagined “Friday the 13th,” “We Are Marshall,” “The Ten,” “American Gun” and “High Crimes.

He moved to Los Angeles from his native country of Belize when he was 3. At Hollywood High School, he performed in several drama production and went on to graduate from Pasadena City College where he worked on becoming an actor.

Aries from UB spoke to the uberly talented Arlen Escarpeta about the first season of “Found.”

Arlen also speaks on the joys of working with the cast and crew, and he shares why he wanted to take on the role.
