Akbar V Teases New Single ‘Queen’ | Dropping January 22nd

Rising Atlanta-based artist Akbar V and current Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta star has announced her forthcoming single “Queen.” The single will be released on Friday, January 22nd.

Self-dubbed the “Queen of Atlanta,” V will also be releasing behind the scenes footage to give listeners a glimpse at her highly anticipated banger. Decked out with deft bars and a powerhouse hook, it’s another bold anthem with a royal proclamation worthy of her name. She teased out a snippet on Instagram and increased anticipation for the track’s arrival.

After fan favorite bangers such as “Talk To Em,” she recently inked a deal with The Blueprint Group, becoming the “first lady of the label.

This Queen is ready to get her crown in 2021.

Hailing from the new music capital Atlanta, Georgia, rising powerhouse emcee, and personality Akbar V has skyrocketed into the spotlight with provocative lyrics, action-packed punchlines, and fearless, uncensored confidence on and off the screen.

Born and raised in South Atlanta‘s historic Cleveland Avenue neighborhood, Akbar was introduced to the streets at inception. At the beginning of her career, she formed a friendship with Young Thug, which lead to the beginning of the boss-like bars to follow. The self-proclaimed Queen of Atlanta positions herself above the competition with her raw and rugged lyrics, unique style, and soulful approach to music.

Solidifying her budding industry career, V landed collaborations with the likes of 21 Savage, K. Michelle, Trouble, Lil’ Keed, Dave East and more. Her hard work paid off, from landing a lead cast roll in the largest-watched franchise on television, Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta, to opening up on Lil Wayne‘s sold out 2019 Lil Weezyana Festival.

In 2020, Akbar V released her new single “Bitch Like Me,” and a few other anthems like, “Always Be” and remixed Drake‘s take on Jay-Z’s ‘Songcry,’ ‘When To Say When.’
