UB Spotlight: Tory Kittles Talks ‘Among The Beasts’

Among The Beasts” is in Theaters and On Demand today February 10th.

Former US Marine Lieutenant Paul Jameson – who everyone calls LT – is a dedicated ‘uncle’ to his fallen comrade’s eleven-year-old daughter Kayla, and is the leading male role model in her life.

When Kayla disappears, her older sister – who blames LT for their father’s death – makes him promise to find Kayla and bring her home. But LT falls victim to his own demons and is unable to find Kayla, crumbling into a hole of depression and grief.

Enter Lola, the daughter of an imprisoned drug dealer who has recently inherited her father’s business. She approaches the bruised and battered LT and tells him that her niece Sophie has disappeared and that she’s convinced he can help find her.

Now working as a team, LT, Lola, and Lola’s boyfriend AJ track down Nathan, the man they believe took Sophie and, after a chase and a fight, capture and brutally interrogate him.
