New R&B vocalist Ywada (Pronounced “Yada”) is ready to follow up her single “Count Me Out” with the brand new single “Thought I Was Loved,” produced by A. Gaines. The emotional ballad is a welcomed edition to the current crop of R&B songs on radio. One of those slow songs, we all can relate to — in the hook she sings “I thought I was loved, I thought I could breath, until you took everything from me!” One of those songs when you want to be in a relationship so bad, you meet someone and think they’re the one. Then as time passes, the truth is slowly revealed. Ywada has a great voice and range and this song showcases it to the fullest.
She’s currently finishing her EP entitled “Me Against Love” due this summer. Ywada has performed on the Grammy’s with Yolanda Adams and on BET’s 106 & Park, make sure you keep in eye out for her, you’ll be hearing the name!
