Reviews: Brandy & Chris Brown “Put It Down” Literally on New Single!

After four years, she’s back!!! Brandy is back with the new single “Put It Down,” the first single from her upcoming album titled Two Eleven (her birthday and the day that her mentor–Whitney Houston died). To really set it off, everybody’s favorite female R&B vocalist is joined by everybody’s favorite bad boy of R&B Chris Brown. The heavy beat track was produced by hot producer Bangladesh and written by super songwriter Sean Garrett. The hook says it all “I’m gonna put it down, you gonna fall in love!” Chris later chimes in with a tight rap flow “ain’t nobody put it down like me though, why are you playing? Girl you know with all this money, and all your cake girl you better stop, I got a big ego!”

Brandy isn’t exactly known for sexual related songs, so does it work for her? Absolutely! Her vocals have never sounded better, not to mention she throws a little Bran’Nu (her former rap alter-ego) in the mix to make the track even hotter!
