Produced by The Social Experiment (Peter Cottontale, Nate Fox, Nico Segal) and written by Grace with Peter, Nate, Nico, and Jamila Woods, ‘Elated’ celebrates love… of self, partner, and life. The track features backing vocals from the talented Jesse Boykins III and Chris Turner.
Billboard called “Elated,” “a euphoric delight that offers many of The Social Experiment’s touchstones, such as the bouncy rhythm section and Segal’s rich, brass accompaniment, with the welcome addition of Weber’s versatile vocals — which move between high exuberance and deep soul.”
“’Elated’ is the song on my upcoming album that reveals my inner joy,” said Grace Weber. “It’s a song about learning to love myself, and learning to let others love me. I had so much fun writing and recording this lil love song with Peter, Nico, Nate and Jamila; I hope it will make listeners smile, and maybe bring a little light into their day.”
“Elated” is Grace’s follow-up from her well-received debut single “More Than Friends.” The single peaked at #11 and #18 on Spotify’s US and Global Viral Charts, respectively, and at #4 on Hype Machine’s chart and made Amazon’s Best New Music of the Month list.
Grace has also been busy over the past 18 months collaborating with Chance the Rapper (co-writing and performing on ‘All We Got’), Francis & the Lights (co-writing and performing on ‘May I Have this Dance’), Shady Records’ Boogie, Towkio, and of course Nate, Nico, and Peter.
In January 2017, Grace co-founded Grace Weber’s Music Lab. The Music Lab is a non-profit organization based in Milwaukee that is working to bring teens of different backgrounds together through music.
