The Winners for UB Honors 2017 Are…

With over 36,000 votes, breaking our previous record. Chris Brown & Nicki Minaj take the most UB Honors for 2017, both winning four honors!

Chris takes the crown in Best R&B Male Artist, Best Dance/Club Single of The Year for “Party” and the biggest UB Honor, Artist of The Year. Nicki Minaj won for Best Rap Artist, Best Hip-Hop Single of The Year & Video of The Year,Rake it Up” with Yo Gotti. Nicki along with Chris are both featured on the winner of the Hottest Collaboration Single of The Year for DJ Khaled‘s “Do You Mind.”

SZA proved she was a force to be reckoned with, the newbie won three UB Honors: Best R&B Female Artist, Best R&B Ballad of The Year for “The Weekend” and Best Independent R&B Album Release for her debut album release “Ctrl.”

Other winners include Cardi B. for Best New R&B/Hip-Hop Artist, Bruno Mars for best R&B Single of The Year with “24K Magic” and Jazmine Sullivan & Bryson Tiller for Best Mid-tempo Single of The Year. Best R&B Album of The Year went to Solange Knowles.
