K.R.U.S.H. an acronym for “Keep Reaching Up Some How,” was a girl group who’s members were Ashley, Christy and Angie. They were signed to Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis‘ label Perspective Records. The labels artists were Bobby Ross Avila, Smooth, Mint Condition, Lo-Key, Solo, Sounds of Blackness, Young Zee and Ann Nesby.

In 1992 they released the soundtrack to “Mo Money” which spawned the hits “The Best Things In Life Are Free” by Luther Vandross and Janet Jackson and “Money Can’t Buy You Love” by Ralph Tresvant. However it was a song on the soundtrack, about love, peace and just getting together as one nation, that stood out of the rest.

Let’s Get Together (So Groovy Now),” has that hot production Jimmy and Terry are known for and the girls really delivered on this track and video. In these current times, with everything going on in our country this song is more relevant than ever.

For the video, member Karan Ashley Jackson helped choreographed K.R.U.S.H.‘s dance routines alongside the world famous Tina Landon.

The group never released a full-length album release and the members went on to do other things. Ashley for instance was later known for her role of Aisha the Yellow Power Ranger on the #1 kids show in America, Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers.

Check out the visual and one of the hot remixes for the track.
