Actor Christian Keyes’ On The Grind – Prepping First Novel

Actor Christian Keyes’ current multiple projects mount to create a spontaneous combustion as a result of his steady grind to write, produce and perform in projects of the highest quality with ABC (“Mistresses,” “Agatha”), BET (“Let’s Stay Together,” “Black Coffee”) and STARZ (“Note to Self”).

While shooting the much-buzzed about ABC Pilot “Agatha” also starring Meta Golding of “Hunger Games” fame, Bojana Novakovic (FOX’s “Rake”) and Daniel Henney (“X Men Origins: Wolverine,” NBC’s “Revolution”), Keyes simultaneously shot his upcoming new recurring role on ABC’s “Mistresses.”

In addition to wrapping this season of BET’s “Let’s Stay Together” during the season finale in his recurring role as Troy, BET premiered “Black Coffee” starring Christian Keyes as a part of its Star Cinema. Directed by Mark Harris, “Black Coffee” also stars Darrin Dewitt Henson (“Stomp the Yard,” “Soul Food”), Lamman Rucker (“Why Did I Get Married?”), Gabrielle Dennis (“The Game”) and Erica Hubbard (“Let’s Stay Together”).

Finally, The STARZ channel (STARZ IN BLACK) premiered “Note to Self” which Keyes both wrote and stars in along with LeToya Luckett (“Preacher’s Kid”), Richard T. Jones (“Why Did I Get Married?”) and Brian McKnight (Platinum Recording Artist). It is directed by Trey Haley.

And coming up with Tri Destined Studios, Christian Keyes is currently working on three film projects with Urban Books Media all based on books by New York Times bestselling author Carl Weber. The films include “The Man in 3B” and the first two films in The Drama in the Church Movie trilogy “The Preacher’s Son” and “The Choir Director.”

New York Times Best Selling Author, Carl Weber is also publishing Christian Keyes’ first novel, Ladies Night, under his Urban Books Media, LLC publishing company. The “Ladies Night” film, based off of the book goes into production soon.
