ENGAGE MUSIC FESTIVAL, brought to you by RKR Entertainment, jump starts its series with it’s first experience ENGAGE:LOWELL at the Tsongas Center at UMASS LOWELL on April 25, 2014. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at TsongasCenter.com, by phone at 866-722-8780 or at the Tsongas Center Box Office.

The ENGAGE MUSIC FESTIVAL is not just a concert series but a music experience designed to engage a new generation of music listeners. ENGAGE MUSIC FESTIVAL’s conceptualizer and RKR Entertainment’s CEO – a 20 year old prodigy and Harvard matriculate – explains it best: “We are the Millennials, Generation Y. We live in a world where we are always connected by technology. However, we’ve learned that connection through technology is not a replacement for the human connection, and we have found our own way through music. Around the world, tens of thousands of us are convening at music festivals. And now it’s Boston’s turn.”

The multi-city music festival kicks off in Massachusetts – a Generation Y hub with over 100+ colleges, a multitude of highs schools, and countless music lovers craving a festival environment in their hometown. The series launches with ENGAGE:LOWELL where Def Jam Hip Hop artist Big Sean will be the first artist ever to grace the festival stage and will be supported by NYC Remix artist and DJ Scott Melker AKA The Melker Project best known for “taking songs and turning them into other songs”, NYC fave and Beatport chart topper Gosteffects whose killer club anthem sound is infused with tech house and dubstep elements, and lastly Italian EDM duo Playin’Fields.

Hitting a few additional cities in between ENGAGE MUSIC FESTIVAL will come full circle in September 2014 for its final event – ENGAGE: BOSTON – which will be a night to remember, boasting not only a superstar line up as its preceding shows, but also a host of technology, art, and culture stations – a truly interactive experience.
