New Music: Big City feat. Lil Scrappy — “Jump Off”

Born and raised in Chicago IL, Big City (Artist/Entertainer/Entrepreneur) had an extremely rough upbringing experiencing extreme poverty, early incarceration, and homelessness. Through hard work, perseverance and a desire to achieve he has become an enterprising business owner, CEO of Star Status Ent., and a talented artist with the ability to express his life lessons and stories through his music. Big City has a distinct sound and is well rounded. He creates songs for everyone ranging from party to street music as well as something for the ladies. At an early age he was introduced to music by his family members and his most notable musical influences included JayZ and Biggie Smalls.

Big City has been working diligently developing his music library and has recently worked with several major artists including Lil Scrappy, The Outlawz, and Mystikal. Producers such as Federal, Marvelous J, My Son just to name a few have all contributed to his latest project. Big City has been performing live at several clubs throughout the Midwest and southeast including Strokers in Atlanta, GA, the Soundbar in Minneapolis and the Marquis in Des Moines.

Big City’s single “Jump Off” produced by Federal features Lil Scrappy who currently appears on VH1’s “Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta”, the single has been getting airplay on several stations including KXHT 107.1fm Memphis, TN, WXHT 103.9fm Columbia, SC, and WIIZ 97.9fm Augusta, GA.

His single “Bye Bye” is currently being played by numerous DJs and is quickly becoming a 2013 summer “Club Banger”. His anticipated upcoming Mixtape entitled “Perfect Timing” is due to be released in fourth quarter of 2013 and features Lil Scrappy, Dre and The Coalition DJ’s XRated.
