R.I.P. Yvette Wilson

Most people remember comedienne and actress Yvette Wilson best for her role on the ‘90s sitcom Moesha – on which she played Andell Wilkerson alongside Brandy – and the show’s spinoff, The Parkers. She has died at age 48 after a battle with cervical cancer. Wilson’s former co-star Shar Jackson tweeted late Thursday “God has chosen to take my sister Yvette home.”

Yvette‘s other acting credits include Thea, House Party 3 and Poetic Justice.
