Azealia Banks Set to Release “1991” EP on June 12th & Digitally May 29th | Tracklisting Revealed

Azealia Banks is easily the most exciting thing to happen to female Hip-Hop since Nicki Minaj and UrbanBridgez.com can tell you on June 12th (Digitally May 29th) she will finally release her much anticipated EP entitled “1991.” At the present time she’s currently finishing up her debut album dropping later this year (Broke With Expensive Taste) and an up-coming mixtape entitled “Fantastic.” One of the singles from it was just released, “Jumanji” which is getting crazy buzz and reviews already.

Banks is from Harlem, NY and also a vocalist and trained in performing arts as well. Her collaboration on the Major Lazer EP and an appearance in the Nike 1Love video series has helped create major buzz for her debut release. “212” the first released track from her upcoming EP has made fans even more hungry for what she’s about to bring. The next single being released from the EP entitled “Liquorice” has made anticipation for her even stronger! A video for the song will premiere soon! She recently made the blogs when she went after Lil Kim on Twitter, in which seemed to be a misunderstanding about a collaboration between the two that never took place.

Fans will get to see her live next month as she takes the stage at Hot ’97’s Annual Summer Jam on June 3rd! If that’s not enough, Azealia Banks recently recorded a remix to M.I.A.’s “Bad Girls,” which also features Missy Elliott and Rye Rye. The track is set to be released in the coming weeks.
