Steadily making a name for himself behind the boards—crafting noteworthy singles over the past 12 months, the Florida native is a part of a new wave of young producers that are taking the industry by storm. He’s produced tracks on Nicki Minaj’s debut album Pink Friday which boasts hits like ‘Dear old Nicki’, ‘I’m The Best, and namely the album’s seventh single ‘Super buy ambien Bass’, which quickly peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100.
Kane went on to strike production gold by creating Lupe Fiasco’s first single ‘The Show Goes On’ from his long awaited album Lasers which landed on the Billboard Hot 100 eventually reaching #9, making it Lupe’s second biggest top ten hit to date. In addition to grammy nominated productions and Billboard accolades, Kane is working on adding more talent to his label ‘The Building’. Humbly celebrating via twitter: “Finally nominated! Blessed! His current talent roster includes artist JR Get Money who did the background vocals for Lupe’s ‘The Show Goes On’ and Ashanti ‘The Mad Violinist’ Floyd who also did tracks for Lupe and Nicki Minaj. Kane is currenlty working on Nicki Minaj’s sophmore album and has also completed a few songs with Nas for his up-coming album.
