Lupe Fiasco and Nicki Minaj Producer Kane Beatz Garners Three Grammy Nods

Multi-platinum producer and prolific hit-maker, Kane Beatz has made an indelible imprint on the music scene within the last couple of years. His production has helped create career-defining hits for artists such as Lil Wayne, T-Pain, Trey Songz, Gucci Mane and many more. Fast forward to 2011, by landing records with two mega artists like Lupe Fiasco and Nicki Minaj, both of which share Grammy nominations for Best Rap Album, and Lupe also being nominated for Best Rap performance and best rap song- Kane Beatz has a tripled his chances of being a part of a Grammy win.

Steadily making a name for himself behind the boards—crafting noteworthy singles over the past 12 months, the Florida native is a part of a new wave of young producers that are taking the industry by storm. He’s produced tracks on Nicki Minaj’s debut album Pink Friday which boasts hits like ‘Dear old Nicki’, ‘I’m The Best, and namely the album’s seventh single ‘Super buy ambien Bass’, which quickly peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100.

Kane went on to strike production gold by creating Lupe Fiasco’s first single ‘The Show Goes On’ from his long awaited album Lasers which landed on the Billboard Hot 100 eventually reaching #9, making it Lupe’s second biggest top ten hit to date. In addition to grammy nominated productions and Billboard accolades, Kane is working on adding more talent to his label ‘The Building’. Humbly celebrating via twitter: “Finally nominated! Blessed! Three Grammy nominations! Best of all I got two them with my team: @themadviolinist @jrgetmoney1000#TheBuilding.”

His current talent roster includes artist JR Get Money who did the background vocals for Lupe’s ‘The Show Goes On’ and Ashanti ‘The Mad Violinist’ Floyd who also did tracks for Lupe and Nicki Minaj. Kane is currenlty working on Nicki Minaj’s sophmore album and has also completed a few songs with Nas for his up-coming album.
