John P. Kee Announces the Album Release ‘I Made It Out’ – September 13th

John P. Kee signed with Entertainment One Nashville via UIE/Urban Inspirational earlier this year. The visual for his new single “I Made It Out” featuring Zacardi Cortez was recently released.

Now on September 13th, “I Made It Out” the album, will be released.

I Made It Out is nothing short of a modern and fresh take of the nostalgic feeling you get when you hear music from the man affectionately known as, the Prince of Gospel. Kee’s current offering is Gospel music at its best. Providing music that listeners will enjoy is a guarantee while riding in their car to work, or sitting in the sanctuary of any church during Sunday morning service.

Kee, who worked on I Made It Out for approximately two years says of the project:

“The entire project is more than just an inspirational piece. I believe it speaks to every area or issue that we deal with on a day-to-day basis. I don’t suggest that I have all of the answers, but I can ensure you that this piece of work will inspire, encourage, and uplift you in ways unimaginable.”

The classic title track “I Made It Out” is currently blazing the trail at radio. Kee says “this song represents the testimony that we all have that we didn’t get to share in church or on a public stage. Everybody has something that caused him/her to take a deep breath and shout, “I escaped.” The Scriptures shares that our deliverance is already planned. 1st Corinthians 10:13 GNT “Every test that you have experienced is the kind that normally comes to people. But God keeps His promise, and He will not allow you to be tested beyond your power to remain firm; at the time you are put to the test, He will give you the strength to endure it, and so provide you with a way out.” I believe that when you confess – I MADE IT OUT, you’re already on your way and there is a predestined plan working in your favor!”

I Made It Out is a music project packed with good news that inspires, encourages, and testifies of the unfailing love of God.

In the mid-1980s, After forming a community choir in Charlotte known as the New Life Community Choir (“NLCC”) in the ‘80s, Kee founded the Victory in Praise Music and Arts Seminar Mass Choir (“V.I.P”) in 1990. Known as “The Prince of Gospel Music,” and having been active for more than 20 years in the music field, Kee is primarily known both for his signature, soulful, husky voice and for mixing traditional gospel with modern contemporary gospel.

Over the years, Kee’s music ministry has birthed his best-known songs, including “Jesus is Real,” “Standing In the Need,” “Stand” and 2012’s crossover smash hit “Life & Favor.” In 2005, Kee was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame. Currently, the Charlotte, NC native serves as the Senior Pastor of New Life Fellowship Center.
