Shazam Conner Delivers with ‘Yeen Ready’ + ‘Weekend’ with Bobby V
Currently Rising on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay Chart.
Shazam Conner of the legendary R&B group H-Town, recently released his debut solo single “Yeen Ready” via Shazam Music/So, Let’s Talk.
“Yeen Ready,” produced by Twnty47, comes on the heels of Shazam’s current single “Weekend,” a collaboration with R&B singer Bobby V. “Weekend,” currently on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart.
While H-Town continues to tour and release music. Shazam launched his solo career in 2023 with the single “Strokey Doke,” a collaboration with his H-Town groupmates, G.I. and the late Dino Conner. The single reached #27 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart.
Last fall, he released his second solo single “Pac Man,” a collaboration with European electronic artist Justin Novak. “Pac Man,” peaked at #4 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart and #29 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart.
Shazam Conner is the lead singer and founding member of H-Town, the biggest selling independent R&B group of all time. Formed in the early 90s, by twin brothers Keven “Dino” Conner and Solomon “Shazam” Conner, along with long-time friend Darryl “G.I.” Jackson. H-Town’s 1993 debut album, ‘Fever for da Flavor’ went platinum and topped R&B charts worldwide. Their breakthrough single “Knockin’ Da Boots,” reached #1 on the R&B chart, #3 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart and changed the face of R&B in the early 90s. Unfortunately, in 2003, Dino died in a tragic accident.
