The future of R&B is in good hands, and October London’s sophomore album, “October Nights,” showcases the genre’s continued vitality. October’s new full-length opus arrives in the midst of his cross-country trek in support of “The Serenade 2024 North American Tour.”

October Nights,” out now via Death Row Records/gamma, features previously released singles “She Keeps Calling,” and the impassioned “A Beautiful Woman.” The 16-track album incites an emotional reaction that’s bound to resonate, backed by an unhurried prose and lush production style (courtesy of October London, who co-produced the LP) that reimagines elements of early 2000s contemporary R&B. London’s trance-inducing vocals are front-and-center throughout, resulting in a mature musical undertaking that feels timeless.

The album is primed for widespread acclaim and features Snoop Dogg, Tyrese, Boney James, and Ledisi. The album also boasts contributions from Priest “Soopafly” Brooks, of the West Coast hip-hop collective Tha Dogg Pound (DPGC), Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Brandon “BAM” Hodge & David Foster, and Karl Rubin, among others.

October Nights” is an album that proves, R&B is alive and well. It also proves another thing….That boy October London got vocals!

The songs October selected for this project, brings an essence of soul, vulnerability and an innovativeness, that has been missing in a full R&B project.

The album opens with the vocally sharp “Slander My Name.” Moving on to more stand-out tracks such as “3rd Shift,” produced by Jeff Gitty. A track October slides on, with his signature Marvin Gaye lane.

Don’t Go” follows, as October switches up his vocals and stance, with a record that TCD and Force MD’s would of murdered the background on.

Theee Babyface laced October London with his signature sound and pen on “Missing You” and it’s an astonishing collab.

UB Hot Tracks: “3rd Shift,” “Missing You,” “Don’t Waste Your Time,” “The Best Problem,” “Touch On Me,” “Put You On” and “Time.”

Today October London released a visual for “Missing You.
