UB First Listen: Anthony Hamilton Taps Jermaine Dupri for ‘QUEEN’

Anthony Hamilton is gearing up to release new music — Today UB has the First Listen of his new single “QUEEN” produced by Jermaine Dupri, via My Music Box.

“QUEEN” is one of the most meaningful and best R&B tracks released in years!

“I’m surrounded by Queens. I was raised by Queens. Some who never knew their value or the influence they had on me. It’s not only my duty as a Black King, but my right to celebrate, support and respect them. She birthed me,” states Anthony Hamilton.

In our 2005 UB Interview with Anthony Hamilton we asked him what motivates him to [keep] making good R&B music? “I just don’t really compete with the radio or listen to the radio a lot a lot. I just kind of keep music that I love close to me, it keeps me inspired.”

Anthony went on to say; “Just remembering the nights when I had Oodles and Noodles and cheese toast, and when you just wanted that extra piece of chicken to go with the meal; that will make you be very creative!”
