Beyoncé + ‘Tyler Perry’s Sistas’ Awarded All Wins In ‘UB Honors’ 2023

The winners for UB Honors 2023 have been calculated.

This year over 115,000 votes were casted by online urban entertainment fans!

A year that includes two ties, which is unprecedented. We’ve only had two ties total, in the history of UB Honors before 2023.

The Beyhive showed up and out as usual, as Beyoncé won in every category she was nominated in. Taking all five honors this year. Some of Beyoncé‘s honors include; Best R&B Female Artist, Artist of The Year and Hottest Collaboration Single of The Year with Kendrick Lamar for “America Has A Problem (Remix).”

Beyoncé tied with Usher on the latter, with “Good Good” featuring Summer Walker, and 21 Savage. Drake and newcomer GloRilla also tied, for Best Rap Artist.

We added Television and Film to the categories this year for the first time and “Tyler Perry’s Sistas” fans represented! As the series took all three nominations, for Best Television Series, Crystal Hayslett won Best Actress (television), while Devale Ellis won for Best Actor (television).

This years most nominated artists SZA, received two wins, along with Usher, Drake and Creed III.

Other winners include October London for Best New R&B/Hip-Hop Artist, Nicki Minaj, Kirk Franklin, Chloe Bailey, Toosii, and emerging new artist Tyla won Best Urban Up-tempo Single of The Year for her hit “Water.”
