Jodeci’s Mr. Dalvin Preps Solo Release ‘Goodtimez’
Singer, songwriter and producer, Mr Dalvin has had quite the decorated career. Member of the iconic, multi-platinum selling R&B group Jodeci.
Now Mr Dalvin is gearing up to release his solo single “Goodtimez” featuring Tali, available October 2nd. He describes “Goodtimez” as a feel good record for all ages and genres of music. UB calls the single a party song for this pandemic period, with all positivity. The song also featuring a sample of Chic‘s classic “Good Times.”
“Goodtimez” offers smooth funky vibes with textures of R&B throughout. With a nostalgia we all crave in quarantine. We’ve been yearning for those group outings and parties.

As rumors of a Jodeci movie continue to swirl throughout the industry, Mr. Dalvin forges ahead establishing himself as a powerhouse of musical versatility. While he remains one-quarter of the legendary group Jodeci, Mr. Dalvin’s early training revealed that his contributions to music would go deeper than just being a vocalist for the band. His new single adds to his solo projects under his label K.A.M.P. Muzik. Ever since his days with Uptown Records and Universal, Mr. Dalvin has continued to write undeniably catchy hit songs. While in Jodeci, he successfully produced a mind-blowing five platinum-plus singles while also contributing to their “Forever My Lady” album which sold a whopping four million copies.
Collectively, Jodeci has sold over 25 million units, capturing nominations and award wins. Mr. Dalvin alone has written and produced for several multi-platinum artists including Mary J.
