Lil’ Kim to Release ‘9’ Deluxe Edition

UB has learned that Lil Kim is set to release the deluxe edition of her newest album release “9” on December 13th. The deluxe will feature the single “Nasty One” featuring Stefflon Don, Kranium & HoodCelebrityy.

9” is Kim‘s first album in over 15 years and was originally released on October 11th via Queen Bee Entertainment. The new album also features Rick Ross, Musiq Soulchild, Rich The Kid, City Girls, and O.T. Genasis.

Lil Kim‘s debut studio album “Hard Core” was certified Double Platinum by the RIAA and spawned three consecutive #1 “No Time,” “Not Tonight (Ladies Night remix),” and “Crush on You,” making Kim the first female rapper with three consecutive #1 singles on Billboard’s Rap songs chart.

Her following albums, “The Notorious K.I.M.” (2000) and “LA Bella Mafia” (2003), were certified Platinum, making her one of the only female rappers to have at least three consecutive Platinum albums. Followed by her critically acclaimed 2005 release “The Naked Truth.” She also scored a #1 Billboard Hot 100 hit with 2001’s “Lady Marmalade,“ featuring Christina Aguilera, Pink, & Mya.

Last month Lil Kim was the Recipient of the BET I Am Hip Hop Award presented by Rick Ross, at the BET Hip Hop Awards.
