This will mark the GRAMMY debuts for Andra Day and Ellie Goulding.
Andra Day is nominated for two awards in the R&B Field: Best R&B Performance for “Rise Up” and Best R&B Album for Cheers To The Fall.
Ellie Goulding has one nomination: Best Pop Solo Performance for “Love Me Like You Do.” The song is also nominated for Best Song Written For Visual Media.
Andra recently covered Kendrick Lamar‘s “No Make-Up (Her Vice).”
Entertainment icon and two-time GRAMMY winner LL COOL J is set to host Music’s Biggest Night® for the fifth consecutive year. Taking place at Staples Center in Los Angeles, the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards® will be broadcast live in HDTV and 5.1 surround sound on the CBS Television Network, Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
Adele, Kendrick Lamar and The Weeknd are among some of the performers already announced to perform. Additional performers will be announced shortly. A special tribute to 2016 MusiCares® Person of the Year Lionel Richie will highlight the GRAMMY winner’s wide-ranging career.
Tune in to American Idol tonight at 8PM to hear Andra Day’s “Rise Up” featured in the show as well as a flashback to Melanie Tierce’s audition.
