‘The Ms. Pat Show’ Renewed for Fifth Season

BET+’s Original, and three-time Emmy-nominated comedy series “The Ms. Pat Show” has been renewed for its fifth season.

The news also comes as BET Media Group agrees to extend its overall deal with Patricia “Ms. Pat” Williams, inclusive of both linear and streaming projects.

Originally launching in August 2021, “The Ms. Pat Show” pulls from Williams’ life experiences covered in her memoir “Rabbit: The Autobiography of Ms. Pat,” tells the story of a former drug dealer and convicted felon turned suburban mom.

An updated version of the traditional TV comedy format, the series portrays a modern, multi-generational African American family navigating life’s twists and turns against the backdrop of current cultural chaos with an unfiltered realness.

The multi-year overall deal includes Ms. Pat producing and performing in new series and other projects across BET such as the fan-favorite “Ms. Pat Settles It.
