Kizz Daniel Releases the Blazzin’ ‘Marhaba’ + ‘We Must’
Showcasing His Journey from Breakout Success to International Recognition.
Aiming to bridge the gap between North Africa and Sub-Saharan African practices on wax, Kizz is leading the charge in creative work and using music to deliver an all-encompassing vision.
Hailing from the Ogun State, his latest entry transcends borders and serves as a conduit between cultures. “Marhaba” (which means “welcome” in Moroccan culture) becomes an instant highlight as he showcases the kind of melodic finesse that’s refreshing and original. Meanwhile, “We Must” is a prime example of Kizz’s dynamic ability to deliver a powerful message of resilience.
Both tracks continue to ooze star quality and build on the momentum of previously released singles. Together, they mark the next step in Kizz’s rise, showcasing his journey from breakout success to international recognition.
The supporting visualizers for “Marhaba” and “We Must” feature a solo shot of Kizz performing each song as he naturally moves to the beat with ease. Instead of choosing the extremes of extroverted vulgarity, Kizz sides with the introverted comfort of being at home to create content.
Kizz started off the year with the Davido assisted remix to “Twe Twe,” which served as a launching pad for his runaway success.
Back in March, the Nigerian sensation enveloped listeners with the surprise release of a new EP. “TZA,” short for “Thankz Alot,” was met with rave reviews. The EP’s lead single, “Showa,” puts all of Kizz’s strengths on full display, establishing him as an artist with boundless creative potential. Then, Kizz followed that up with “Double,” a song born out of love in the purest form that’s bound to resonate with audiences worldwide.
