UB Spotlight: NBC Fall Preview | ‘Found’ + ‘The Irrational’
A New Episode of “Brilliant Minds” Premieres Tomorrow.
The television fall season has arrived and like every year, many new shows have premiered plus many favorites returning.
NBC premiered two hit series last fall, that both return for season two; “Found” and “The Irrational.”
“Brilliant Minds” premiered last Monday, September 23rd and is inspired by the extraordinary life and work of world-famous author and physician Oliver Sacks.
“Brilliant Minds” follows a revolutionary, larger-than-life neurologist and his team of interns as they explore the last great frontier – the human mind – while grappling with their own relationships and mental health.
The cast includes Zachary Quinto, Tamberla Perry, Ashleigh LaThrop, Alex MacNicoll, Aury Krebs, Spence Moore II, Teddy Sears, and Donna Murphy.

This Thursday, October 3rd, Shanola Hampton begins her second season as missing persons advocate Gabi Mosely in the hit series “Found” at 10 p.m ET.

In the season premiere “Missing While Bait,” Gabi and her team at Mosely & Associates begin to spiral amidst Gabi’s shocking revelation.
Lacey’s childhood flashbacks begin to resurface, providing vital clues as Sir remains at large.
The cast includes series star and producer Shanola Hampton, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Kelli Williams, Brett Dalton, Gabrielle Walsh, Arlen Escarpeta and Karan Oberoi.
Dionne Gipson and Danielle Savre have been added to the new season.
“The Irrational” season two premieres Tuesday October 8th on NBC at 10 ET/PT.
“The Irrational” follows world-renowned professor of behavioral science Alec Mercer (Jesse L. Martin) as he lends his unique expertise to high-stakes cases and mysteries.
His insight and unconventional approach to understanding human behavior lead him to work alongside varying clients ranging from the FBI to everyday people caught in perplexing situations desperate for answers.
With the help of his trusted team and social-science experiments, Alec solves crimes and uncovers the truth to answer intriguing, and irrational, questions.
In the season premiere; When Rose goes missing, Alec quickly discovers this is no ordinary kidnapping. Rose plays a dangerous game to stall for time, Alec takes matters into his own hands to find her.
The cast also includes Maahra Hill, Travina Springer, Molly Kunz and Arash DeMaxi.
After screening the premiere, it’s safe to say season one was just an appetizer for what’s to come.
“The Irrational” was the #1 new show last season in total viewers while “Found” was the #1 new drama in the 18-49 demo.
