UB spoke with executive producer Dijon Talton, about the direction of Reign this season: “Reign is going through who he is right now…he’s owning his sexuality and learning it for the first time. When we all get into our grown man mode, there’s a little more of poking your chest out.”
This season has explored who Misha, Reign, and Shyra are as friends to each other without the friend that brought them all together: Mahogany.
The cast expanded this season with social media star India Love and musician Alex Jacke. Joining the cast as recurring characters are Romeo Miller, Tami Roman, Aspen Kennedy, Terayle Hill and Leon Fleisher. Tammy Rivera comes to spice up the season in an episode.
