CBS’ #1 Daytime Drama for 35 consecutive years, “The Young and the Restless,” welcomes back beloved fan favorite Shemar Moore, for a special appearance this Monday, May 8th, in celebration of Y&R’s 50th Anniversary.

The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30-1:30 PM, ET/11:30 AM-12:30 PM, PT. on CBS.

Shemar Moore made his debut nearly 30 years ago on Y&R as Malcolm Winters, who arrived in Genoa City eager to meet his half brother, Neil Winters, played by the late Kristoff St. John.

Shemar Moore was last seen on “The Young and the Restless” in 2019, as the Winters family reunited for a special tribute to Kristoff St. John‘s character. The role earned him a Daytime Emmy Award, as well as multiple nominations.

In the episode, the Winters family will reunite once again as Malcolm visits Genoa City to connect with his daughter Lily (Christel Khalil), nephew Devon (Bryton James), and stepson Nate (Sean Dominic). The Winters‘ were first introduced on the show in the 1990s, quickly becoming one of the most cherished and iconic black families.

Shemar Moore is an award-winning actor and philanthropist. The recipient of eight NAACP Image Awards, most recently winning in 2015 for Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series for his work on Criminal Minds. Additionally, he won the award six times in the Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Drama Series category for his role on “The Young and the Restless.
