Comedian, actor, writer and producer David A. Arnold has passed away suddenly. David‘s family confirmed by releasing the following statement: “It is with great sadness that we confirm the untimely passing of our husband, father, brother and friend, David A. Arnold. David passed away peacefully today in his home and doctors have ruled the cause of death due to natural causes. Please keep our family in prayer and respect our privacy at this time, as we are all shocked and devastated by this loss.

David A. Arnold was one of the best-kept secrets in comedy until recently, as he continued to climb the ladder of success. A 20-year stand-up veteran who made his living performing, acting and writing for TV and film.

UB Previewed his latest Netflix special earlier this year, “It Ain’t For The Weak!” taped at The Hanna Theater in David’s hometown of Cleveland, OH and was executive produced by Kevin Hart.

He’s was a talented writer who had produced several TV shows from “Fuller House” on Netflix to “Bigger” on BET+. David also added showrunner and creator to his accomplishments by creating a show produced by Will Packer, for internet sensation “That Girl Lay Lay” on Nickelodeon.

He also wrote for several comedy series, including “Meet The Browns“, “The Rickey Smiley Show“, “Raising Whitley” and “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne.
