Grammy Award-nominated Queen Of DanceHall, Spice has unveiled her brand new single and video entitled “Clap Clap.”

In the accompanying visual directed by Honest Mykel, shows-topping choreography matches the energy of the music as she instantly transfixes in each and every scene. It’s the type of vibe that’ll make you get up and move!
Spice lit up the stage at Reggae Sumfest in Montego Bay, Jamaica yesterday, captivating a sold-out crowd. This stop marks the beginning of the last leg of her world tour, The Emancipated Tour, which began in April of this year. Remaining dates include Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago, D.C., and an additional London date due to high demand.
Most importantly, “Clap Clap” sets the stage for Spice’s anxiously awaited new album, “Emancipated,” available this August via a newly formed independent partnership with Stealth Music Group/UnitedMasters.
Spice states; “I’m super elated for this new chapter in my life with Stealth/United Masters. I’m celebrating my first release being free after 10 years. My fans have been asking for new music and I’m so excited for them to enjoy ‘Clap Clap’. The song is full of life and energy and that’s what my fans need right now after being quarantined for so long.”
Speaking to the excitement around her new music, Spice recently received a shoutout from superstar Cardi B during an interview with Lip Service.
Spice returns to “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” Monday, August 8th at 8pm ET/PT.
Spice is a Dancehall and reggae artist from Portmore, Jamaica, who grips a well-seasoned career and concrete discography.
Dubbed as the fashion forward “Queen of dancehall” by Vogue magazine, Spice created history as the first artist alive in her genre to peak at one million Instagram followers. It is no longer debatable whether Spice is officially the queen of dancehall for this era.
In 2017 the VH1 popular TV series Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta welcomed Spice as a cast member on the show. Her bold personality and unique patois accent won the hearts and attention of millions of viewers. It was documented that Spice was the first dancehall artist to hit #1 on both the single and album iTunes reggae charts simultaneously.
Spice has recorded a collection of songs with fellow artist Vybz Kartel. In 2009 “Ramping Shop” debuted at #96 on the Billboard charts, the hit with Vybz Kartel catapulted Spice to the top, and she has reigned there ever since.
Over the years, the talented entertainer has collaborated with other high profile artists such as Missy Elliott, Kid Ink, Jeremih, Busta Rhymes, I-Octane, Lady Leshurr, Sean Kingston, ASAP Ferg, Mya, and many more.
