Fred Reed’s Soulful ‘Tug of War’ Reaches Top #10 R&B Radio
Having 19 years under his belt, Delaware-bred singer/songwriter and producer Fred Reed possesses a long track record of experience within the music industry.
Before becoming this pillar for his community, Fred was electrifying the stage throughout the states opening up for R&B/Hip-Hop artists such as Mary J. Beige, Run-DMC, 112, and the late great Gerald LeVert, not to mention producer Scott Storch.
In March, Fred serviced his soulful ballad “Tug of War” to independent radio, and the song’s momentum on the charts has continued to climb. “Tug of War” has reached number #6 on the Urban Influencer R&B and Soul Chart.
“I don’t wanna play those games no more
Tired of playing tug of war
One minute you love me
One minute you hate me
I keep pulling, but you keep pushing me away”
His love for his community inspired him to establish a successful, non-profit haven for children that helps them develop their potential musical artistry.
“Reeds Refuge” offers a positive alternative to what the streets have to offer the community’s youth.
Fred Reed is back in the studio putting the finishing touches on his forthcoming album “Lovesided,” as well as several other projects in the works.
